"Celebrate the First 50 Years"

Dear Friends

As you all, probably, know by now, we will be celebrating Hovione’s 50th anniversary in 2009 and to start the commemorations, we have decided it would be interesting to collect all the memories of those who have been with us or who have known us over this period. Tell us your stories. It is important for those who come after us to know how Hovione started up, survived and developed into a worldwide Group over these 50 years.

With this idea in mind we have created the site 50anos.hovione.com, which will store the collective memory of all those prepared to share their reminiscences with us; short episodes, impressions, photographs, all are welcome. All you have to do is to enter the site and add your story at the link “Tell us your story”. This data will be kept in the “Hovione Memory” files for eventual publication.

This invitation was initially sent out to Hovione SC, in January 2008 to see if it needed any streamlining before translation so you will already find a number of stories, divided by decades. You are all invited to participate so that we will have a living memory of the past 50 years. Therefore please pass on the message to anyone who may not have email or who might have a good story to tell amongst your friends or connections.
